TidyApps is a software development house based in Oxford, UK. Founded during the recession of 2008. It’s key aim is to create simple and effective web applications designed to help organisations solve simple problems. Online software as a service is here to stay.
It’s main product is bookwhen.com, an online booking system designed for smaller businesses or organisations that don’t have the resources to create their own. The target market is courses and classes, but it’s also perfectly suited to organising large one-off events. It was launched in the summer of 2009 and is already being used by Defra and the UK Climate Impact Programme to organise their events.
Before TidyApps, came whichweekend.com. A small app written by TidyApps’s founder Jo Potts at the start of ‘08 to help various groups of friends organise which weekends they were free to all meet up. It got spotted by makeuseof and has since enjoyed ongoing use without further promotion.
